AFR Smart Investor Recommends GFT for CFDs and Spot Forex

SYDNEY, 3 Sept, 2008 — GFT, worldwide leaders in online trading, announced today that the company was named to the prestigious recommended lists of CFD and spot forex providers in AFR Smart Investor Magazine's 2008 Blue Ribbon Awards.

The Blue Ribbon Awards recognised GFT for its innovation and excellence in delivering Australian financial services. As more traders have become interested in the CFD and spot forex markets, AFR Smart Investor this year added lists of recommended vendors to help traders identify providers.

Sales manager Brendan Gunn said GFT is honoured to be recognised by a trusted voice like AFR Smart Investor. "AFR Smart Investor is one of Australia's premier sources for financial and investment news," he said. "To be recommended as a CFD and spot forex provider in their Blue Ribbon Awards says a lot about the work we’re doing in offering our customers innovative and valuable products and services."

According to AFR Smart Investor, CFD providers on their recommended list "have demonstrated consistency, based on low margins, product breadth and being able to offer both market-maker and direct-market-access platforms." The spot forex providers on their list were applauded for representing the "best in features such as contract size and currency pairs."

GFT has won major awards around the world for its products and services, including its DealBook® 360 desktop trading platform. The company has been licensed with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission since 2003 and opened its first Australian sales office in 2005.
